She Sails!

Early in the morning she sails
For maiden voyage that hails.
'The ocean is there where I dwell.
Hence, to my home port this is a farewell.'

She will never miss her yard.
To her destiny she sails onward.
'I love watching a gull
Flying around my hull.'

Out on the ocean she is the one,
And has never met anyone.
'Perhaps I am alone. But not lonely.
Not a novelty this is. Truly.'

Behind her stern are only old stories.
Written in a yellow book of memories.
'One cannot stop the sun from rising,
Thus, this life must keep on moving.'

Proud masts of hers stand tall
Like pillars of hope that never fall.
'So a hope it is that has kept me sailing
To the land where my dreams are awaiting.'

And daylight must finally surrender
Into darkness of night that takes over.
'Painful heartbreak is on the mend;
So this is not a voyage without end.'

Years and years she sails
And knows there will be a day
With all her sails furled,
She will cast anchor in a bay.

'All this time I just sail and pray

That one day I'll quit and call it a day'

Faraway land lies over the horizon
Which port she is forever home

To the landfall before her bows
She sails!

Aku menanti hujan di tepi tangisan.
Hujan yang sama.
Aku mencintai hujan berselimut haru.
Hujan yang dulu.
Selalu.
